Barton Howe Associates is an exciting new consultancy created by two award winning Landscape Architects, George Barton and John Micklethwaite-Howe.
Barton Howe Associates offer clients a compact yet flexible resource. Our philosophy is simple, we work with clients in a collaborative approach to deliver high standards of design and environmental assessment. To put this philosophy into practice we offer a select suite of complementary landscape services tailored to achieve success on behalf of our clients. Quality of service is a key objective. We recognise that each client and every project is different and strive to tailor our service accordingly so that all will benefit from our experience and expertise. Our bespoke approach to projects, working for selected clients, ensures that each will include the direct involvement of a director.
George and John are joined by Associate Peter Thompson to provide a core team of Chartered Landscape Architects that offer a natural skill balance. This core group is supported by a wider network of Landscape practitioners who can be called upon to bring additional resource on a project specific basis; the LEEF Landscape Network. Barton Howe Associates can also draw upon associated professionals with skills in ecology, cultural heritage and graphics to create a true, multi-disciplinary environmental team. All share a belief in creating innovative and functional landscapes to the benefit of clients and the wider community.
Barton Howe Associates is based in the leafy business campus of York Science Park where we have access to a wide range of conferencing and meeting facilities that enables us to host meetings, seminars, and workshops for the benefit of our clients and associates.
